About UKTB

The UKTB (UK Testing Board), founded on the 2nd April 2007, is responsible for:

The UK input to the ISTQB Certified Tester scheme (syllabi and processes);

1. Determining the UK response to processes and syllabi issued
2. By the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualification Board)
3. Ensuring that processes and exam syllabi accepted for UK use transition successfully

ISTQB is a non Profit legal entity whose role is to support a single, universally accepted, international qualification scheme,
aimed at software and system testing professionals, by providing the core syllabi and by setting guidelines for accreditation and examination for national boards and exam providers.
